Julia Lemigova is a former Miss USSR winner and a retired professional tennis player. She was born on June 20, 1972, in Moscow, Russia. Julia gained international fame after marrying the tennis legend Martina Navratilova in 2014.
Julia started her tennis career at the age of 7 and went on to become one of the top-ranked players in the USSR. She won several junior championships before turning pro in 1990. Julia's best result in singles was reaching the quarterfinals of the Kremlin Cup in 1997.
After retiring from tennis, Julia became a model, actress, and entrepreneur. She started her own cosmetics line, called "Julia's Essentials," which includes a range of organic skincare products.
In addition to her professional career, Julia is also known for her philanthropic work. She is a goodwill ambassador for the UNESCO organization and has worked with several charities that aim to promote education and awareness about HIV/AIDS.
Despite the significant age gap between her and her spouse, Julia and Martina have been together for more than a decade and have two children together. They also founded the All Out Tennis Academy, which helps promote and develop tennis talent among young players.
